कहकहे लगा रहा है कौन इस अंधेर में?
किसको आ रहा मज़ा है इस तबाह ढेर में?
छिन्न भिन्न सादगी है, सच लहूलुहान है!
यहाँ वफ़ा की लाश है, पड़ा वहां ईमान है!

ऐसे खंडहर के नीचे कोई है दबा हुआ
हाथ दो, निकालो उसको, वो जो है छुपा हुआ
धर्म है वो, कर्म है वो
सच कहो तो शर्म है
शर्म ही नहीं जहाँ, भला वहाँ क्या जुर्म है?
मर न जाए शर्म भी यूँ थोड़ी सी ही देर में

कहकहे लगा रहा है कौन इस अंधेर में?
किसको आ रहा मज़ा है इस तबाह ढेर में?
