mysterious encounters
piece 2

They were sitting on the balcony of the fort. Watching the forest sprawling down to the ground from the hill and further almost up to the horizon! An amazing display of untamed nature! A river stopped the woods they could see its silver body with sprawling sand banks from here.

The king wanted the wood to be cleared off amply so that a road could connect the fort to the nearest town with airport. He wanted to use his fort as a hotel cum resort.

Two lions were creating a ruckus.

Mudit was not the first one hired to kill them, the king had to depend on illegal poachers like him or else he would have been cooling his heels in some jail not entertaining him. Two poachers hired before him were eaten by the lions.

Heaven only knows how they could kill those veteran hunters. Both of them have hunted for years in Africa. May be because they were not familiar with Indian forests! So in place of becoming the hunter they became hunted.

The king’s priest told him to give up the idea after they were eaten alive, the above remark was made by him, and he claimed every villager claimed that too!
