mysterious encounters
piece 8

The king was waiting for him in his music room. It was a piece of sheer beauty, beauty wrapped in luxury, riches. An expensive carpet was spread all across the room. Here and there Persian rugs with pillows were scattered, colourful and pretty. A huge chandelier was glowing with diamond like glass diamonds, reflecting the beauty and colours around them and two dazzling looking notch girls were sitting under it.

They stood up and saluted him as if he was a king, in a manner that was like a beautiful posture of dance too, full of grace and charm. He blushed hard!

King Yashwardhan was sitting on a small divan designed like a throne, he was half lying on it actually, relaxed and smiling. He gestured at a rug thrown right beside him, “Please!”

He sat down after thanking him.

“What will you have?” he asked.

“A glass of the same sherbet if you don’t mind!” he answered.

“You don’t drink?” the king asked curiously.

“Not when I am hunting!” he smiled. “If I kill the lions I will drink!”
