The spirits of darkness and light
the dark lands
Five years later a rich, issueless couple from Africa returned to India. A pretty, petite lady in her mid forties and her handsome husband, bronzed by African sun!
“We enjoyed our life in Africa very much, we have been living most of it in wild areas, enjoying the scary, horrifying wild life of Africa.” The sweet lady will giggle. Then if the audience was interested to listen she will tell stories of those nights- the low rumbling of a hungry lion right outside their tent, they could hear its breath, see its shadow, circling around the tent, looking for a gap from where it could sneak in.
Waking up with the feeling that something ice cold was lying next to her and jumping out of bed to see a huge python coiled right next to her. The horn of the deer it has swallowed was still jutting out of its mouth.
The herds of zebra, deer and long necked giraffes that roamed freely in the vast lands! Strange looking baobab trees, the colorful tribes of Africa! Sometimes menacing, scary and sometimes gorgeous, beautiful!
She was a good story teller with hundreds of photographs neatly labeled.

They were not ready to let go their food habits and other things, the main reason that they returned to India ignoring the threats, so they changed the title, had some serious cosmetic surgeries on their faces and decided to never visit her or his hometowns or places they frequented.
They bought this property in Bihar.
They knew that people will not recognize them after the cosmetic surgeries and other modifications. Apart from that ten years are a long gap in time.
They were standing in front of the mansion after a couple of hours. Their rented car was parked in the portico. Their chauffer was busy in unloading the minimal stuff they had to bring along, water, food and some necessary items.
